The Greek government has issued a new law that applies a “telecommunications services’ tax” on all telecommunications bills, and the regulator EETT has issued a new regulation about how this tax must be mentioned.
The specific tax changes according to the pre-VAT amount of the bill. So, we do not have to mention a specific amount of the tax in the advertisement but to just include a sentence about the fact that the total amount charged by the service will be taxed according to the “telecommunications services’ tax percentage on their monthly bill”.
Specifically, the sentence that needs to be added next to the price info of each service is the following:
“Η υπηρεσία επιβαρύνεται επιπλέον με τέλος κινητής τηλεφωνίας 12% ή 15% ή 18% ή 20% ανάλογα με το ύψος του μηνιαίου λογαριασμού σας προ ΦΠΑ. ”
Meaning: “the service is also charged with mobile services’ tax of 12% or 15% or 18% or 20% depending on the total pre-VAT amount of your monthly bill.”
Kindly update all of your promotion materials, disclaimers and landing pages in accordance with new requirements of the Greek regulator.

Three employees represented our company at the first forum dedicated to ticketing solutions and technologies Moscow Ticketing Forum.
